I am better than him | Pope Leo “destroys” Pope Francis: his poverty is not even dreamed of

So similar yet so distant, Pope Leo XIV is deciding which line to follow, while the people still mourn Pope Francis.
With the election of Pope Leo XIV, the Vatican has witnessed what is a truly symbolic turning point. In his long years of pontificate, Pope Bergoglio has accustomed us to a particularly low profile, an evangelical sobriety that probably had not been seen much before. It was hoped that the new Pope he chose would follow the same line, but these are still weeks of study for the new Holy Father.
We would all like the church to give up the pomp that is often seen and then Francis made us understand that this was truly possible and that it is hoped that Prevost follows his own indications.
Some, however, speak of a clear separation between the two pontiffs, this despite the fact that they knew each other and had shared some experiences together. From the first moment the two figures have been contrasted, if comparisons are made so much so that many have asked to avoid them, to experience the new Pope as a completely different entity from Pope Francis .
Now an important choice has made it possible to notice the difference between the two popes .
The symbolic clash: Francis on foot, Leo with horsesProbably the clash is being created between two ecclesiastical figures, it is totally symbolic. Probably we are the ones trying to find in the new Pope Leo XIV, a trace of what was a particularly beloved Pope like Bergoglio. Pope Francis renounced the gold ring and chose the silver one, he had renounced the papal shoes and unlike the other previous Popes he presented himself to the world with only the white robe , renouncing the red that distinguishes the Pope's exit at the moment of the election.
Leo XIV, while appearing to be a rather simple and easy-going man, wanted the image of the Pope to be revalued , he wants to regain prestige and authority that is often lost when one puts oneself too much at the disposal of the masses. There would be many monetary differences, however, one that immediately caught the eye, that is, the choice of a four-wheeler completely different from that of Pope Francis.

Pope Bergoglio used to tour Italy far and wide on board his Fiat 500 L, Pope Leo XIV has instead decided that for his travels he will have at his disposal a luxurious dark blue Volkswagen Multivan, an imposing and technological car with a 245 horsepower plug-in hybrid engine and automatic transmission. A vehicle that would be able to accommodate six people inside and that to tell the truth has attracted attention despite being neither a Maserati nor a Lamborghini. Indeed, it is a prestigious car that according to some would bring back the pontifical splendor that had been eliminated by Bergoglio.
The Multivan is much more than a simple car, but it is a real traveling living room with all the comforts on board. A car is able to personify the authority of the pontiff in public and official contexts. Despite this, the positive aspect is that the car is a hybrid, a sign that the Pope still has particular attention for the environment.
